Angelo then gave us advice on places where we could go wine tasting which is what we wanted to do, and dropped us off at the funiculare rail station to take us up to the top of the mountain in Bergamo town. Very quiet and relaxed place, we were definitely made to feel at home. In the morning we had a delicious breakfast of toast, cereal, fresh cakes, yoghurt, tea and coffee and juice etc. It was such a nice welcome and we wished we were staying for longer! The B&B is in a lovely location in what looks like a traditional Italian residential area. We had a twin room with a balcony which was actually very spacious. He informed us we could have breakfast at any time that suited us and offered to take us wherever we wanted to go in the morning!
